Centinela — protecting elderly from digital scams.

Elderly relatives are the primary target of WhatsApp scams in Latin America. The damage is rarely just financial — it's trust, autonomy, and dignity. A single convincing message from a "son in trouble" or a "bank fraud team" can unravel a decade of savings in minutes.

Centinela watches incoming messages, recognizes manipulation patterns — urgency, isolation, impersonation, payment pressure — and explains what's happening in plain language. It tells the user what to do before they act on the scam.

The intervention is calm, never alarmist. The goal isn't to take control away from the elderly user — it's to give them a second pair of eyes they can trust, every time their phone buzzes.

Onsari also builds the developer infrastructure that powers safe digital interactions. Our open-source SDK provides payment primitives for software-driven commerce — the plumbing that lets agents and assistants transact responsibly on a user's behalf.
